There isn't a way to model the Soviets less then helpful assistance at the moment, cause there's no cash in game, but there are couple of ways to model the (admittedly not much more helpful) assistance Spain got from the world's democracies.Įvent troops is one way, but I think that's dull and boring. The only help you get is from Russia, which is sort of historically accurate, but the fact that it's actual help and not a cash grab by Stalin is not. And it's botched in a way that enforces a double-standard. But the way they've modelled the Spanish Civil War is botched at the moment. Republican Spain, in a historical game, is supposed to lose. An option you don't have in game, or at least you didn't the last time I played Russia (which was a few versions ago, admittedly).
